9 pounds in a year

Today was Littlebit's two year doctor appointment. She ways 28lbs. (She is only 5lbs. away from Lovey.) She has gained 9lbs in the last year. The doctor gave her the book Bingo, so we listened to the song in the car on the way home. Both kids were very good. Lovey let me talk to the doctor without interrupting and Littlebit was excited to have her look in her ears and mouth. No ear infections. Yippee! We are going to have her speech tested because not being understood is very frustrating for her and causes screaming. I actually left the doctor's feeling good and not exhausted from entertaining or trying to keep them from getting into something, so we celebrated by going to Starbucks and Half Price Books.
