The Fair

Way back in September, the kids were begging to go the fair. Every time a commercial for it would come on TV, they would look at us with puppy dog eyes and beg to go to the fair. Then to top it off, Lovey came home with a ticket to the fair. By the last weekend of the fair, we gave in and piled into the car to drive to the fair.

We didn't tell the kids where we were going. It increases the entertainment value for Big Daddy and I. Even when we were on the street by the fairgrounds, Littlebit looked over and asked if we could go there. Yes, sometimes they are slow to clue in.

The weather was beautiful that day, warmer than it had been in quite awhile. We walked around to look at the animals. Littlebit loves animals. Lovey just wanted to get to the rides. We let each kid have ten tickets and they could pick out which rides they wanted to go on. Ten tickets means two rides - Wow! It is expensive. It is about $3 a ride. Yikes!) Luckily they chose the same rides.
