Proud Momma

We are part way through another fall baseball season. We are waiting for Lovey to get his first hit this season, but I love seeing his smiling face and the way he cheers on his teammates. This past weekend, we had a game and we were behind in the sixth inning. Lovey got a walk with one out. He stole second and then stole third. On the next pitch, the ball got away from the catcher and the catcher couldn't find it (it was under his feet and he didn't take off the mask). Lovey ran towards home and slid as the catcher found the ball. He was safe and scored the winning run! It was awesome to see his teammates run out of the dugout for him and pick him up. Surely a moment he won't forget.
