Blueberry Fingers

Yesterday was perfect berry picking weather, cloudy and cool, but not raining. The berries were small, but were clumped together like grapes, so it was easy to pick. There were quite a few people out picking and Lovey kept one couple entertained with his non-stop talking. Mostly he was asking questions or telling me that he was leaving some for me to come and pick. I had my own bushes I was working on. I'm easily distracted while picking blueberries. There are so many, it is hard to stay focused.

After an hour, Lovey was hungry, so we left. I picked just under 2.5 lbs. Lovey picked only .25 lbs. I think he ate most of his. I kept telling him that if he wanted berries in the winter, he had better keep picking. There were still a lot of berries that weren't ripe, so maybe we'll go again. Want to come, Mom?
