Fall

What a beautiful fall we have had! Sunny skies and in the 70s. This was the first weekend that I was wishing we had turned on the heat. Holding out until November. This weekend the wind and rain were crazy. Hopefully the rain stays away for Halloween!


I am two months into my new job and while it is completely overwhelming with the amount of information I need to learn, I am L.O.V.I.N.G. it! I still feel that I don't have a clear direction that I am headed and my first official observation is next week, but I am enjoying myself.


This week is super crazy with half days for conferences and then book fair. I have learned how to set up a book fair and today will be my first day of sales. It is going to be a long day, but tomorrow will be longer after a half day of teaching and then 6 hours of book fair. Yikes!


The school year is already flying by it seems. Lovey has finished his fall ball season and his first basketball practices start tomorrow night. Who thinks that an 8pm practice on a school night is okay for 4th and 5th graders???? I don't know who sets the practice schedule, but I am less than thrilled. I am not fond of the Y sports program and here is just another reason.


Littlebit can't decide if she still wants to dance. She said she would give it another month. She was disappointed that the class did not have more gymnastics. The straight gymnastics class didn't fit into our schedule though.
